The author of the article is a 1st year student of the Bachelor's study program at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia (UL) and a scholarship holder of the University of Latvia Foundation, whose interests include historical research and public activity within the framework of patriotism. This article studies the Industrial School of Artisans of Valencia since its founding to its closure. This initiative promoted by the county council had the collaboration of the teaching staff of the Valencia public school, but had an uneven success depending on the political circumstances.
